The National Lithium Battery Product Inspection and Testing Center was founded in October 2010 with a total investment of 150 million yuan and a total area of about 8,500 square meters. It has four major laboratories for lithium battery safety, electrical performance, environment, and R&D. It is equipped with more than 1,000 sets of various testing and R&D equipment, and its technical equipment level has reached the world-class level. The qualified inspection items currently include more than 1,000 parameters of more than 80 domestic and foreign product standards, and the inspection capabilities cover common types of batteries in the market. From 2020 to 2021, the center successively obtained the CBTL authorized laboratory qualification of the International Electrotechnical Organization (IECEE), the Intertek North American Standard RTL authorized laboratory qualification, and the UN38.3 authorized testing laboratory of the Second Civil Aviation Institute, and can conduct testing and research in accordance with domestic (GB), international (IEC), European (EN), American (UL/ASTM), Japanese (JIS) and other standard systems.
