The National Lithium Battery Product Inspection and Testing Center was founded in October 2010 with a total investment of RMB 150 million and a total area of about 8,500 square meters. It has four major laboratories for lithium battery safety, electrical performance, environment, and R&D, equipped with more than 1,000 sets of various testing and R&D equipment, and its technical equipment has reached the world-class level. The inspection items that have been qualified include more than 1,000 parameters of more than 80 domestic and international product standards, and the inspection capability covers common types of batteries in the market.

Testing and research can be carried out according to domestic (GB), international (IEC), European (EN), American (UL/ASTM), Japanese (JIS) and other standard systems.

The testing center is mainly focused on the testing and certification of the entire industry chain of new energy power batteries and high-end energy storage products.
